Refund policy
At L&S Small Engine Parts, we stand behind the quality of our products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, returns and warranty claims are handled according to the guidelines below.
Returns & Refunds
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
- Items must be unused, uninstalled and in like-new, resalable condition, with original packaging and all included parts, hardware and accessories.
- A valid order number or proof of purchase is required.
- Customers are responsible for verifying part numbers, dimensions and equipment compatibility before ordering.
Non-Returnable Items
- Installed, used, modified or damaged parts cannot be returned unless confirmed to have a manufacturing defect.
- Electrical and ignition components that have been installed or used are not eligible for standard returns.
- Carburetors and fuel-system components that have been installed or exposed to gasoline, fuel additives, oil or other fluids are not eligible for standard returns.
- Items marked Final Sale or Clearance are not returnable unless defective on arrival.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs when a part was ordered incorrectly, is no longer needed, or is returned for another reason unrelated to an error by L&S Small Engine Parts.
If we shipped an incorrect item, or an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us so we can arrange an appropriate resolution.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable for customer-initiated returns. We recommend using a trackable shipping service. L&S Small Engine Parts is not responsible for returned items lost or damaged in transit.
Refunds
Returned items will be inspected after they are received. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow up to 5 business days for returns to be inspected and processed after delivery to us. Please allow additional processing time for your bank or payment provider to post the refund.
Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us with your order number, a description of the issue and photos when applicable.
Please report shipping damage or incorrect items within 7 days of delivery. We will review the issue and arrange an appropriate replacement, refund or other resolution.
1-Year Limited Warranty
Replacement parts sold by L&S Small Engine Parts are covered by a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, incorrect installation, incorrect fitment, misuse, modifications, accidental damage, improper maintenance, or damage caused by problems elsewhere in the equipment.
Wear items that fail through normal use are not considered defective solely because they require replacement during the warranty period.
Warranty claims may require photos, troubleshooting information, the equipment model number, engine model number and original part number to verify the issue. Depending on the circumstances, an approved warranty claim may be resolved through replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.
